Vision

The vision of the Foundation is “Nav Nirman, Bharat Gyan, Jan Kalyan” . To create an equitable, socially just, economically and socially empowered, developed and peaceful society where all men, women and children get an enabling environment to realize their dreams.

Mission

Empower Care Foundation is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to conservation and preservation of India’s natural, cultural, living, tangible and intangible heritage. Its mission is to:

• Sensitize the public about the pluralistic cultural legacy of India;
• Instill a sense of social responsibility towards preserving our common heritage;
• Protect and conserve our living, built, and natural heritage by undertaking necessary actions and measures;
• Document unprotected buildings of archaeological, architectural, historical and aesthetic significance; and cultural resources, as this is the first step towards formulating conservation plans;
• Develop heritage policy and regulations, and make legal interventions to protect our heritage when necessary;
• Provide expertise in the field of conservation, restoration and preservation of specific works of art; and encourage capacity building by developing skills through training programs;
• Undertake emergency response measures during natural or manmade disasters, and support local administration whenever heritage is threatened;
• Foster collaborations, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and partnerships with government and other national and international agencies; and
• Generate sponsorships for conservation and educational projects
• Work as enablers, catalysts and partners of organisations and individuals to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged.
• Strive to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of the deprived.
• Identify opportunities, build relationships for greater understanding and promotes rights of all men, women, and children to create a critical mass of social capital.

Genesis

Empower Care Foundation a non-profit organization is the vision of our Shri Maqsood Alam, Chairman, Empower Care Group. The endeavour is to reach out beyond the boundaries of corporate growth. The Foundation would act as a catalyst to extend help and resources for multifarious issues improving the quality of life of society at large.

The changing socio-economic scenario and unexpected circumstances offer new opportunities for addressing community needs. Empower Care Foundation is prepared to face the challenges ahead to work and set new standards in Corporate Social Responsibility. The Foundation envisions not being mere donor or provider but the catalysts of change, who through community participation aims to build human and fund capital to usher in a new India of 21st centuary.

Role of Empower Care Foundation

Empower Care Foundation plays a vital role in the listing, documentation and conservation of historic structures and precincts of architectural, historical and cultural value. Our team of conservation architects is working on projects nationwide for the conservation of heritage properties and mobilization of resources in this direction.

The activities of the Foundation will also encompass advocacy, networking, capacity building, specific projects, its monitoring, and evaluation. It will organise discussions, seminars, workshops and lectures for all stakeholders to increase understanding, interest and partnership on various issues related to our focus areas of work. Empower Care Foundation will also facilitate generation of research, useful both for business and development sector. It will also initiate action oriented projects by directly reaching the underprivileged through direct intervention projects.
